Get to know the streamers - Marc

Are you ready to get to know another of our super cool and talented streamers? We’ve asked each of them some fun questions; by doing this, we hope you can better understand who our streamers are since they are the heart of Spinz. This time, we welcome Marc to take the stage!

What is your favourite slot game? This is an exciting question to start with, considering that I am rather spoilt with the extensive and highly entertaining catalogue of slot games on Spinz. Right now, I say La Dolce Vita (The Sweet Life) by Gamomat, which takes me to the prolific wine regions of Tuscany and the vineyards of Giovanni and his cute dog Toto.

What is your favourite game provider? This is a tough one, and it’s lovely to see new providers coming in with some innovative games. How about my top three? Push, Pragmatic, Hacksaw.

If you could hang out with a celebrity for a day, who would it be and why? That would have to be Keanu Reeves. I am quite the film “geek” and have enjoyed his movies since the first “Bill & Ted”, which was released over 20 years ago. He is still as popular as ever after all these years through the “Matrix” and “John Wick” films, and I have been told that I look quite like him (including people who have worked with him). Hanging out with him would be a dream come true as not is he an accomplished actor but his random acts of kindness have become even more legendary than the characters he has portrayed in films, and I would love to hear all of those stories from the legend himself.

Do you have any hidden talents? My hidden talent is Knitting. I learned how to knit when I was around nine years old. I watched my grandmother one day knitting a sweater for a friend and asked her to teach me. Every weekend she would teach me, and we would spend hours together. What I like about knitting is that it requires precision and patience. It also involves a lot of undoing mistakes and starting over. I like that because it reminds me that doing something well often means starting over.

What’s the best dish you can cook? Been trying my very best to eat healthier, and I am pretty good at cooking Veggie Loaded Frittatas.

If you had a superpower, what would it be? Time travel.

How long have you been streaming? Almost four years now, it feels like I am just starting, though that is a good sign.

What is your favourite part about being a streamer? Oh, this is a great question. I can connect with so many wonderful viewers from all over the world, and ever since I joined Spinz over a year ago, I have experienced some of the best moments in streaming and shared these with so many viewers that coming in to stream is like coming in to say hello to members of my extended family.

Where are you from? Malta.

What is the best book you have ever read and would recommend? War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, and I highly recommend it.

If you could be in any video game, which one would it be? Sonic the Hedgehog.

If you weren’t a streamer, what would you work with? I would be a Gardner.

When you were a child, what did you dream of becoming when you grew up? A Stunt man.

What’s your favourite drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)? Strawberry Daiquiri.

What is the best place you have ever travelled to? Lapland, Finland.

And lastly, if you could give a word of advice, what would it be? If you look at what you have in life, you will always have enough. If you look at what you don’t have in life, you will never have enough.
